So we made pizza tonight with a sourdough crust, and the crust was fine and all, but way too thick. I have this same problem with any dough I use. I really want to figure out how to make a thin crust. Easy- just smash it out more! I just can’t seem to get it to do that. It’s so slippery on the oily cookie sheet. Is that it? Do I only use a baking stone? But when I use a baking stone, (and I only have one round one) I can barely pry it off. We probably could have used a better cheese instead of mild cheddar. Sauce was okay. Used crispy bacon, canned mushrooms, olives and chopped greed onions for the toppings. It was okay, but I just really want to change it up.
