Left Las Vegas this morning for Anaheim.  The drive was pretty uneventful (thank goodness) with Melissa navigating and me driving.
We easily located our hotel across from Disneyland and then almost immediately left to go visit Brandon, Erin, and little Ben.  It was good to see them.  After they told us how close we were to the beach, we decided to make an impromptu visit to Huntington Beach.
The kids had a blast playing in the sand and waves.  At one point, an unsuspecting Truman was toppled by a small wave and was soaked from his shoulders to his toes.  He was pretty sad for a few minutes, but quickly returned to enjoying the beach.  We didn’t stay long…we wanted to make sure to save some excitement for our return on Thursday.

We came back to the hotel where we enjoyed some time in the pool and hot tub.  It was a good time.  We ate dinner in the room.

We are now watching the movie “Hugo” while we await the fireworks from across the street.
