I remember a few years ago when we went to the Redwoods we all felt like we took a step back in time. The trees, flora and fauna all looked like it came from a much older time in earth’s history. I had a similar experience this last week as I looked at wild gators in the Everglades, just outside of Miami.

I had to attend a conference with some colleagues and we decided it would be worth it to breakaway (on our own dime) to catch an excursion in the Everglades. It was spectacular. We saw a few 8-10 footers, but for me, the more interesting part was seeing 4-5 week old baby alligators.
