It’s the last day of 2016 and we have had a vicious illness cycling through our family.  It started with Norah, then Truman, and now Melissa and I have it. The primary symptoms are cold-like. As a result, it hasn’t been the most action-packed Christmas break. In fact, we’ve mostly watched movies around the house. Today, however, Melissa and I wanted to get out of the house with the kids. We decided to try the Soap Factory in Provo. However, once we made the trip down to Provo we learned they were closed. Luckily, Taste waste around the corner.  I’ve known about this place for awhile, but never had a chance to try it out. We had our whole family, plus Lara, Libby, and Caden. We ordered a combination of sipping hot chocolate and traditional hot chocolate. Additionally, we tried the house chocolate, a creamy option from Australia (my favorite), and one from France called Melissa. We had a great time chatting and taste testing chocolate together.

Next, we drove a few blocks north where we joined part of the extended Keith family at Wild Ginger for all you can eat sushi. The sushi was okay, but it was fun talking with the kids.
